100 Push Ups
The new year is a time of introspection. It’s a reminder for us to look backward at the past year, as well as ahead. What does the future hold? A year older. Wow.
Some people set new year’s resolutions. Screw that, you’ll only be on the diet for a month TOPS!
I am going to do 100 push ups.. not as a resolution, but because it is a CHALLENGE.
I love push ups.

get it? a push.. up.. (ba dum bum peesh)
Get your mind out of the gutter.
I’m talking about push ups.. ya know.. the drop and gimme 20 kind.

No, this is not me.
I am accepting the challenge at hundredpushups.com. This morning, I did 20.. so only 80 more to go! ( Oh wait, I have to do them all at ONCE?)
Here’s the lowdown:
Push ups are one of the basic and most common exercises for the human body. Push ups are not only great for your chest, but do a tremendous job of defining your abs, triceps, shoulders and torso.
Push ups can be performed no matter where you are, and best of all, they are completely free – no expensive equipment or annual gym fees required! If you’re looking to develop a great chest and shoulders, you could do much worse than follow along with the hundred push ups plan. Your core strength will also go through the roof too!
Seeing as how I’m broke (no gym fees) and I spend a lot of time on a computer (weak core strength), this should be perfect!
